Original Antique c.1800's

Watchman's Pin Pendulum Wall Clock 

This timepiece was used to record the times at which watchmen did their rounds.

When the silver pin dial is released by the drawstring,
the dial moves, indicating the time the Watchman made his round.

FEATURES:

  • Original SOLID Grained Wooden Casing
  • 15x day Fusee Movement
  • Single Winding Arbor on the Dial - Turns Right
  • Metal Outer-Dial Silver Inner-Dial
  • THICK 5mm Beveled Glass Face Cover
  • Roman Numerals on Both Dials
  • Inner Drawstring for PIN Function
  • 2x Lockable side-door flaps
  • Adjustable Pendulum, Winding Key and Door Panel Lock Key.
  • No visible Hallmarks
  • The clock is silent (no chime)

CONDITION:

  • Casing and parts refurbished/polished
  • Completely dismantled ~ every part removed & re-assembled
  • The mechanical movement has undergone a basic clean and lubrication
  • The clock is currently in working order
  • It includes the Adjustable Pendulum & Keys
  • Solid Handmade wood Casing is in Great Structural Condition
  • 2x chips on face glass edging
  • Wear consistent with age & use
